Thomas Bothen, CCIM, is Director of Investment Analytics at One Chicago Realty in Oak Brook, IL. During his 35 years in commercial real estate, he managed several hundred million dollars of lease negotiations, initiated development of a 900,000 square foot industrial property for a major international company and has managed numerous construction projects. He gained portfolio experience on a national basis with Balcor where he managed over 60 properties in various asset classes.

Bothen has been a CCIM Institute instructor since 2000 and is the director of the graduate real estate program at University of Illinois at Chicago. He also teaches Chinese to MBA students at UIC and is adjunct professor at Roosevelt University in Chicago for a real estate finance course.
